Your Home is special and filled with Memories

Rozena is one of the most devoted Care Pro’s we have had the pleasure to work with. Rozena first became employed by our office on April 28, 2006. She has displayed her compassion to our clients at both offices for over 17 years.

Rozena has a true passion for providing care to seniors and enjoys their company and getting to know them on a personal level. She has provided her special caring skills to so many clients and they all love her and she stays with them for years. From companionship to hospice care, she has a unique skill to make the client feel secure and comforted and she quickly becomes a part of their family. She has an intuition to know exactly what the client’s needs and wants are, down to preparing their favorite meal each time without them asking.

Above all, Rozena enjoys the companionship and conversation with her clients and reliving the memories, especially with those with Alzheimers. One of her long-time clients always shares his memory of how he and his wife married 30 days after meeting and have been married over 50 years. She also helps him remember the many trips they have taken during those 50 years. His wife and daughter say she is part of the family and they are thankful for the excellent care and compassion she has given him over the years.

She just recently began caring for a client that was a previous Care Pro with her at a mutual client years ago. The Care Pro, now client, was diagnosed with cancer and came back to Home Instead for his care. Rozena requested to be his Care Pro and he said he wouldn’t think of having anyone but her care for him. This is the type of relationship she builds with each and every one of her clients.

Rozena has been instrumental as a mentor for our younger and newly hired Care Pro’s. She is always willing to help out by offering a shadow shift with them and making sure they have the client’s needs and wants as a priority. She takes great pride in sharing her passion and knowledge with the other Care Pro’s and always has a positive attitude and instills that in others.

The word “no” does not exist in Rozena’s vocabulary. She is our “Go To Care Pro”, as she goes out of her way to take a shift when we need her and we always know she will do an amazing job! We and the families she has served are truly blessed to know her.
